Recovery help that supports the claims process.

For Insurers

TowMeGH links policyholder assistance, recovery, destination instructions and a clear service record, without turning the towing provider into the claims decision-maker. Insurer connections are agreed one provider at a time and only go live once the contract and data-handling terms are approved.

What we provide

From first call to settled invoice.

Assistance intake

Capture the customer, vehicle, incident and authorisation details needed to start a recovery properly.

Coverage awareness

Where an insurer connection is enabled, a vehicle’s policy can be checked. Coverage is never assumed: a job is treated as unverified, self-pay or insurer-covered.

Recovery dispatch

Route by vehicle condition, location and recovery requirements to an appropriate verified operator.

A clear record

Timestamps, photos and handover records support the claim file.

Shared or split costs

A job can be covered by the insurer, paid by the motorist, or split when a policy limit is reached, so the motorist is not surprised by a bill.

Claim status updates

Once an insurer connection is agreed, claim updates can arrive through secure, signed callbacks.

How it works

An insurer-linked recovery.

01
The policyholder requests help

The request identifies the vehicle and the incident.

02
Coverage is checked

Where a connection exists, the vehicle’s policy is looked up; otherwise the motorist can proceed as self-pay.

03
A verified operator is dispatched

The right equipment is matched to the vehicle and situation.

04
The job is verified and completed

Arrival PIN and customer-confirmed completion protect the record.

05
Costs are allocated

The insurer-covered, motorist and blended portions are recorded against the job.

06
Billing follows the agreed route

Insurer billing can be delivered through an API, a portal or email, depending on what the insurer prefers.

What TowMeGH does not do

TowMeGH arranges recovery and keeps the service record. Claims authorisation, assessment and settlement remain with the insurer and follow the insurer’s own terms. Recovery decisions on the ground are driven by scene safety and the vehicle’s condition, not by coverage.

Integration approach

How an insurer connection goes live.

We would rather go live carefully than quickly. Nothing is switched on for a real provider until these are in place.

  • A signed commercial agreement and an approved data-processing arrangement
  • An agreed data contract covering the events, statuses and identifiers exchanged
  • Signed, time-stamped callbacks that reject replays and tampered messages
  • Provider-specific secrets held in a secret manager and never logged
  • Testing in a staging environment before any live traffic
  • Monitoring and alerting on failed or delayed callbacks
Questions

Insurer questions, answered.

Is an insurer integration live today?

Connections are agreed provider by provider. Until one is agreed and approved, coverage is not assumed and jobs proceed as unverified or self-pay.

Who decides whether a claim is paid?

The insurer. TowMeGH supplies recovery coordination and the service record; it does not make claims decisions.

What happens if a policy limit is lower than the job cost?

The job can be split so the insurer covers up to the limit and the motorist covers the remainder, and the split is recorded.

How would we receive invoices?

By API, portal or email, whichever fits your operations. This is agreed as part of onboarding.
