Partner With TowMeGH

TowMeGH works with towing operators, mechanics, fleets and insurers who share one standard: help that arrives safely, is handled honestly and leaves a clear record. This page explains who we work with, how onboarding works and what we expect in return.

Who we work with

Four ways to partner.

Each type of partner has its own tools, so nobody is forced to use something built for someone else.

Recovery & towing

Tow operators

Light-, medium- and heavy-duty operators receive matched jobs, navigate to the customer and finish with a verified handover.

For tow operators →
Roadside repair

Mobile mechanics

Qualified mechanics handle diagnostics and minor repairs on site, and workshops can act as trusted repair destinations.

For mechanics →
Managed vehicles

Fleets & organisations

Businesses manage vehicles, drivers, documents, incidents and roadside jobs under one organisation account.

For fleets →
Assistance & claims

Insurers

Arrange recovery for policyholders and keep a clear record of the job, without making the tow provider the one who decides claims.

For insurers →
For operators

Two ways to work with us.

Recovery is done by individual owner-operators and by companies with their own drivers. TowMeGH supports both.

You own the truck

Independent operator

You hold your own licence and vehicle, choose when you are available and are paid per completed job. Commercial terms, including TowMeGH’s share of each job, are confirmed with you before you start.

You drive for a tow company

Company driver

You work under a registered company’s vehicles and arrangements. The company holds the business documents; you hold your own licence and identity verification.

You manage vehicles or drivers

Tow company or fleet owner

Register an organisation to manage your vehicles, drivers and documents in one place.

Organisation accounts →
Onboarding

From first enquiry to your first job.

The exact checks depend on the partner type, but the path is the same.

01
Tell us who you are

Contact the partnerships team with your partner type, services, vehicles and operating area.

02
Submit your documents

Identification, driver’s licence and vehicle registration, plus insurance and roadworthiness documents where they apply. Companies also provide business registration and tax documents.

03
We review

A TowMeGH team member reviews your application and documents. If something is missing or unclear, we tell you what we need. Profile photos are checked by a person before customers ever see them.

04
Get verified and set up

Once approved you are marked verified, register your own mobile-money payout number and learn how a job runs, including the arrival PIN and completion steps.

05
Go online

Switch on availability and start receiving jobs that match your equipment, service type and location.

Standards

What we look for in every partner.

This is the baseline. Specific documents vary by partner type and are confirmed during onboarding.

  • Valid government-issued identification
  • A driver’s licence valid for the class of vehicle you operate
  • A registered vehicle whose plate number matches your profile
  • Roadworthiness and insurance documents appropriate to the vehicle and service, where required
  • Equipment suited to the vehicle classes and services you accept
  • A smartphone with GPS and mobile data, and a mobile-money account for payouts
  • Willingness to follow safety procedures, scene rules and the verified-handover process
What partners get

A record for every job.

Matched jobs

Requests are routed by service type, vehicle class, equipment, proximity and availability. A jump start is not a winch, and a car is not a heavy truck.

Clear job details

Each request carries the service, vehicle and location information you need before you set off.

A guided job from start to finish

Status updates, navigation, and call and chat with the customer, from dispatch to completion.

Digital job records

Job status, photos and completion are recorded, so disputes can be settled from facts rather than memory.

Earnings visibility

Earnings are recorded per job with a clear status from pending through to paid.

Ratings and reputation

Customer ratings build a track record that helps good operators stand out.

What we expect

What you get as a partner.

Safety before speed

Protect people first, then the vehicle, then the schedule. Never rush an unsafe recovery.

Honest updates

Job status should reflect reality. Do not mark yourself arrived or complete before it is true.

Verified handover

Use the arrival PIN and customer-confirmed completion so the right operator meets the right customer.

Professional conduct

Identify yourself, treat customers and their property with care, and photograph the vehicle before and after where the job asks for it.

Charge what was agreed

Follow the price and scope confirmed for the job. Raise any change through TowMeGH support, not at the roadside.

Keep documents current

Renew licences, insurance and roadworthiness on time and update your profile when anything changes.

Questions

Partner questions, answered.

Do I need my own truck to join?

Not always. Independent operators bring their own vehicle. Company drivers work under a registered company’s vehicles. Mechanics and workshops need suitable tools or premises instead of a tow truck.

How am I paid?

Operators register their own mobile-money number (MTN MoMo, Vodafone Cash or AirtelTigo Money). Earnings are recorded per job and payouts go to the number you registered. Commercial terms are confirmed before you start.

Am I on call all the time?

No. Independent operators go online and offline as they choose, and only receive jobs while available.

Is approval guaranteed, and how long does it take?

No. Approval depends on complete, valid documents and on where and when we need capacity. We aim to tell you what is missing so you can fix it.

What happens if my documents expire?

Keep them current. Expired documents can affect your ability to receive jobs until they are renewed and re-checked.

Which areas do you cover?

The clearest current focus is Greater Accra plus selected major routes. New areas open as coverage and partner capacity grow. Tell us where you operate.
