Turn availability into clear, trackable jobs.

For Tow Operators

TowMe Operator separates field work from fleet administration: go available, receive matched jobs, navigate, verify the customer on arrival, capture proof of service and get paid to mobile money, with a record of every step.

How you work with us

Choose the route that fits you.

Your truck, your schedule

Independent operator

Bring your own licensed, registered vehicle. Go online when you want work and go offline when you don’t.

Drive for a registered company

Company driver

Operate a company vehicle under the company’s arrangements, with your own licence and identity verified.

Matching

You get jobs that suit your equipment.

Dispatch considers service type, vehicle class, equipment, proximity and availability, so you are sent work your truck can actually do safely.

Equipment we match jobs to

  • Flatbed carriers
  • Hook / wheel-lift trucks
  • Wreckers and heavy-recovery vehicles
  • Fuel-delivery units
  • Battery and jump-start units

Jobs you can be dispatched for

  • Emergency towing
  • Accident recovery and scene clearance
  • Jump start and battery assistance
  • Emergency fuel delivery
  • Flat-tyre assistance
  • Vehicle lockout assistance
A job from your side

Seven steps from request to payout.

The same job states are used across the motorist app, the operator app and the backend, so everyone sees the same truth.

01
Go online

Switch availability on. You only receive requests while you are online.

02
Receive a matched request

A request arrives with the service, vehicle and location details for the job.

03
Head to the customer

Navigate to the pickup point. The customer can follow your progress where live tracking is enabled, and you can call or chat with them.

04
Arrive and verify

On arrival the customer gives you a six-digit arrival PIN, confirming the right operator has met the right customer.

05
Do the work and take photos

Carry out the service within a safe scope. Photos and notes become part of the service record where the job asks for them.

06
Complete with customer confirmation

The customer confirms handover with a short-lived completion code before the job is marked complete.

07
Get paid

Payment is verified on the server side, the job is recorded as paid and your earnings are recorded against it.

Requirements

What you need to join as an operator.

Documents are reviewed before you are marked verified. Additional documents may be requested for your vehicle class or service.

  • A driver’s licence valid for the class of vehicle you operate
  • Vehicle registration, with the plate number matching your profile
  • Roadworthiness and insurance documents appropriate to the vehicle, where required
  • Government-issued identification
  • A clear profile photo, reviewed by a person before customers see it
  • A mobile-money number that you register yourself for payouts
  • A smartphone with GPS and mobile data
Tow companies and fleets

Organisations are reviewed through a separate application. Depending on the business, this can include business registration, tax clearance, Ghana Card, driver and vehicle documents, insurance, roadworthiness and NRSA accreditation. See For Fleets & Organisations for the full process.

Earnings and payouts

Clear records, paid to your mobile money.

Recorded per job

Each job creates an earnings record that moves from pending through processing to paid. If a payout fails, it is visible rather than hidden.

You choose the payout number

You register your own MTN MoMo, Vodafone Cash or AirtelTigo Money number. We never assume your network from your login phone, because that could misroute your money.

Commercial terms up front

How TowMeGH’s share of each job works is confirmed with you before you go online, not after your first job.

Standards

How operators are expected to work.

Protect the scene

Position the recovery vehicle to protect people, keep the recovery zone clear and never work near a loaded line.

Verify before handover

Always use the arrival PIN and the completion confirmation. Never skip them to save time.

Care for the vehicle

Record the vehicle’s condition before and after, and use equipment matched to its class and condition.

Accurate status

Update job status honestly and promptly so customers and support know where you are.

Charge what was agreed

Follow the price and scope for the job and raise any change through support.

Respectful conduct

Identify yourself, communicate clearly and treat customers, especially those in distress, with patience.

Questions

Operator questions, answered.

What is the arrival PIN?

A six-digit code the customer shares when you arrive. It confirms that the right operator has reached the right customer before any work starts.

Why does the customer confirm completion?

Customer-confirmed handover protects both sides: the customer knows the job is finished to their satisfaction and you have proof that it was handed over properly. The confirmation code is short-lived and limits repeated attempts.

What jobs will I be sent?

Jobs are matched by service type, vehicle class, equipment, proximity and availability, so a jump-start unit is not sent to a heavy recovery, and vice versa.

Can I set my own hours?

Yes for independent operators. You go online and offline as you choose. Company drivers follow their company’s arrangements.

How do I get paid?

Payments are verified server-side, then your earnings are paid to the mobile-money number you registered. You can see each job’s earnings status.

What if my documents change?

Update your profile and documents when anything changes. Expired or unverified documents can affect your ability to receive jobs.
